The name
Why Quipu?
A quipu was the Inca Empire's accounting and communication system — knotted cords that recorded numbers, debts, and decisions across 4,000 miles of mountain and coast. Information made portable. Trust made transferable.
We didn't pick the name by accident. The quipu worked because it made knowledge portable — carrying information from the far corners of the Inca Empire to its centre, across terrain that should have made it impossible.
We do the same thing: we take the skills of highly educated professionals in Peru and connect them — directly and reliably — with the people in Canada who need exactly what those professionals can offer.
The quipu didn't just store data. It moved trust across distance. That's what we're building.

Tingo María is a city in the Peruvian highlands. It has universities. It has graduates in accounting and finance who studied hard, earned their credentials, and are deeply capable. What it doesn't have is a local economy that can fully absorb what those people are capable of.
QuipuSOL was built to change that equation. We recruit accounting professionals from Tingo María and communities like it. We train them to Canadian standards. We give them real work, real careers, and the kind of growth that should come with the education they earned.
When a Canadian client gets a clean set of books or a reconciled payroll run, a professional in Tingo María just delivered that — and built their career doing it.
